Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with emotional issues.
A mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder. Difficult life moments, such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown, or work-related stress. Difficult emotions, e.g. low self-esteem or anger. Sexual related issues.
You will be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions, and you’ll be listened to without judgment or criticism. We will work together to help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, so you can find your own solutions to problems.
This totally depends on the reason why you have sought out counselling. Some people need support for short periods of time to work through a specific concern or problem, which may only last for a few weeks or months. Some people have counselling for several months or years as they find the ongoing support integral to their life, similar to having a regular massage, to help keep things in check and be available to support throughout life’s ups and downs.
The first step.I'm here to help you on your journey.

During this consultation, you can also ask me questions about my approach to counselling. This consultation will either be over the telephone or online via Zoom.
